Modifications

Silencer Modification To Rear Casing

Reducing Noise Level

The new modified rear casing introduces an additional silencer element that reduces the noise level and consequently improves operator comfort when the tool is in use for prolonged periods.
The new rear casing incorporating the additional silencing is supplied as a complete assembly Part No. 74200-12800, and is interchangeable with the exisiting rear casing, sintered silencer and circlip.

Air inlet modification

Prevents unfiltered air to enter the pneumatic system

The swivel inlet Part No. 74200-12038 has been modified to include the sintered filter and circlip. These were formerly housed within the double male connector which has now been made obsolete.
This modification simplifies the air inlet arrangement and eliminates the possibility of an inadvertently discarding the double male connector allowing unfiltered air to enter the pneumatic system. The inlet connection thread is now 1/4 BSP female (formerly 1/4 BSP male).
